I must say that I have not locked the car with the key fob for a long time. I do it simply by turning a key or pressing a button - a clove.
This morning I opened the car and saw this indicator. I thought the alarm went off spontaneously, but no. There were no beeps, there was no delay in starting the engine. While the car was moving, the indicator either continued to burn, then went out, then flickered with different intensity. I don't know what's the matter.

Comes to mind:
1. We have a sharp warming and melting snow. Perhaps moisture has condensed inside the instrument panel and short circuit;
2. My key fob has not been able to connect to the on-board electronics for a long time. The key fob is working, something died in the car itself. Perhaps the problem got worse and I got the next level of trouble.

In any case, I'm not scared yet, but I want to understand the possible risks. What do you recommend, guys?

Sometimes the security lock is an indicator of a low voltage problem. Check the battery.

The only time it comes on is low battery or un-chipped key, or maybe the PK3 fuse on the BCM; I don't recall the number.

low battery level is possible - I drive a car no more than once a week, and it's still winter outside

Is this list of fuses - the one under the hood or the one in the cabin?
Maybe my signaling did not die, but the fuse just burned out. It won't hurt to check.

That's the one in the cabin.

I looked at the fuses - this is a whole, in good order;
I could not look at the battery (there is nothing to check the charge), but I think that the matter is still in the low battery charge. I draw this conclusion from the fact that after some time of intensive driving, the light went out and did not resume. I'm assuming that running the engine at standard city driving speeds recharged the battery to a small but sufficient degree for proper operation.
Just a trip downtown to the mall.

Still need to fully charge the battery.
