Monroe strut & coil spring assembly

looking to possibly replace the front struts. Found "monroe strut & coil spring assembly from partsgeek.com for 188.16 ( both left front and right front ). what does everyone recommend using?

That's pretty much the only option I know of. The cheaper ones are junk.

X2, other than separate struts, coil springs and upper strut bearing plate! If you have a spring compressor

I bought the Monroe Quick Struts from Rockauto and have had them on for about a year and they work great. It took longer to get the car up, wheel off than to do the replacement.

Monroe with the spring is what replaced the driver side on my red one.

is that part# 182179r + l for the Monroe's


the 172179's look better little more but my car. ?? anybody

It looks like 182179 is listed as the economy part.
172179 is listed to be the premium part.

Just replaced both front struts and rear shocks from Rock auto. Bought the "kit" with the unit pre assembled springs and struts for easier install. Replaced all of the sway bar links and rubber mounts also. Drives like new (after re alignment) and not even a sound on rough roads!

Very happy now, drives better than when it was new!
