Hello. I've got some problems with my HHR.
seat won't go back only forward.
Knocking noise coming from glove box.
2008 Chevy HHR an old 02 sensor.
I don't trust auto parts stores

P.s. I need the driver's side power seat switch.but I know you have master mechanics and I need help narrowing down the aftermarket parts.
Thank you.

Mine did the same thing and replaced the switch with a new one I got from Rock Auto last year, works great now.

have you ever changed the cabin air filter (behind the glove box)? Probably some junk or old filter banging on the fan. Owner Manual from link in my sig.
What does "old 02 sensor" mean? There are 2 O2 sensors. I would be getting part numbers from a parts store. Avoid Bosch brand, NGK/NTK is better. They only need replacing occasionally, not a maintenance part.

If you're not getting codes pointing to the O2 sensor, just leave it. Like donbrew said, not something that needs regular replacement, same for any sensor.

It is possible there’s something caught in the track of the seat, blocking the travel towards the back.
