Oil extractor

Anyone using an oil extractor to remove the oil?
What brand is recommended?

Considering getting one, it also will be useful to use on my new addition - Fiat 500 Lounge :thumb:

I wouldn't recommend one. Better to drain it at the plug. Drains all the oil plus any small debris that sometimes likes to accumulate around the drain hole/plug.

X2 - and you will get a better more thorough removal of the old oil by draining it through the old fashioned drain plug process.

I have one

I use one from Griot's Garage, but it will not work with the dipstick tube design in the HHR. I use it on other vehicles and a boat motor. I used the tool, then drained the oil and nothing came out of the plug. So, they work.... just not on the HHR. Sorry.
