Post Part number for '09 Driver seat mounting bolts?

Hi,

I'm looking for the part number and/or link to a retailer that would sell the bolts that mount the chair to the metal bar for the driver seat. Or, if this bolt isn't specialized, what size and length so I can go buy one at a hardware store?

Welcome to the site! I'd suggest you stop by your local GM dealership for those bolts!
Or if your comfortable with used swing by a pick a part and get them there!
There are some members parting out their HHRs, send them a PM to see what's available

I gotta ask. Why do you need them ?

Anyhow. Here's a picture. The bolts have 18mm size bolt heads. The threaded shaft is 1 inch long. Not sure about the thread size.
(edit: 4 bolts shown for the 2 front seats )

I think they're specialized so I either need to go to the GM dealership or find the part number to order online (I'm trying to avoid going to the shop/dealer. 100,000+ miles and I've done all work myself... more for my ego than anything else.) And I was trying to drop in a lower seat (I'm 6'4") and I ended up tearing the meniscus in my knee and the car sat without a seat for seven months and when I recovered, I couldn't find the screws... so the seat is essentially zip tied in. It works, but I think it's screwing with the airbag sensor because upon hitting a bump, etc the service airbag light comes on for a second and then goes away.

Really nothing specialized about them. Any bolt the correct size and thread would work.
Pull one out of the passenger seat and head to your local hardware store and find a match.

Fwiw. I have my drivers seat lowered and replaced those original 2 bolts with a bolt/nut setup.
If you're curious about my seat lowering, just look in my gallery of pictures.

Ah, I'll try that. And that looks good! Looks like you had to cut that bar... is the lowered one custom made or did you order that?

I made that bent portion from a piece of straight L bar. Cut, bent and painted by me.

There are many GM parts stores online, they all have illustrated catalogs online.
