Question about coolant in lower hose

Just serviced my '08 w 2,4,

I ran it a while after running around, temp 180, parked shut off & grabbed lower hose, it was real warm like upper hose, but was solid full.
I couldnt squeeze it. Does not overheat, runs well. Don't see any leaks or lowering in overflow tank

Just never checked hose after use & shut down. Cold it can be squeezed.

Seem normal to you guys ? Im almost @ 40K miles,

Appreciate any input...

A coolant drain and fill needs a couple of burps to get the air out. Give it a couple of days to get that air out.

I did have it jacked up in front & tried burping it for 2 days.

I agree with Donbrew.
When warm the system is under pressure.
