Spark Plug Replacement

Trying to save some money and change the Spark Plugs on my own. Any assistance would be appreciated. Anyone have a video or link? 2006 HHR

 Get your plugs, a 3/8 ratchet, 6" extension (lockable preferred IMO), and a spark plug socket.

Little anti sieze on the threads wouldn't hurt either.

No video needed.....

How many miles are on the car? Spark plugs shouldn't be required till 100K unless you just want to do them.

has 102k miles. I have changed plugs on older vehicles, was able to get the air cleaner off, just didnt want to break any of the plugs off the top, seemed a little brittle.

Spark Plugs

The spark plugs aren't hard to replace. I did a neighbour's plugs for them. They got their 2009 Chevy HHR LT2 after seeing my 2008 LS.

I would be careful changing the plugs, but they aren't as brittle as they seem. Changing them is a snap. Getting plugs for mine. 155,000km on mine, so I figure it's in need of a change. :-)
