OK here's a learning curve. Installed LED map and dome lights. All well and good except after they shut off there is a light glow to them.
Googled this and found I should have bought ones that are canbus type. This type of bulb has a resistor in it to eliminate the glow problem.
Going to see where I can buy them locally, don't want to wait on an eBay order.
Has anybody else ever have the pleasure of finding this out also?

 

Yep, in the LED bulbs I installed in my inside rear view mirror.

 

No glow out of the 5 I've installed - 4 Phillips 194's & one Pilot brand (Wal-Mart special) festoon 211-2

 

Those are canbus possibly that's why no after glow

 

I looked at them but nothing is said if they are.

 

Neither package says one way or the other, but I would guess so.
