You should post a picture of what you're looking for. My SS, bought new, came with solid black mats front and rear. No light edge.
Maybe there are different SS mats ?

Mine had a silver trim sewn around the edge of my new bought black SS in 2008. Factory still in the plastic bag. I suppose different mats, different colors maybe.
