I am sold on the Vmaxtanks, they are in Michigan and I don't remember who talked to their, but they use 99$ virgin lead, with a higher antimony in the alloy for more durable and longer lasting batteries, heavier plates, acid both mine were heavier than the batteries I replaced them with, and according to them it gives me more surface, and the glass mat means a totally sealed battery that cannot spill or create the dangerous fumes.

As soon we get the body work finished and detailing dome on the 2009 I just got we will see how the Battery test on a load test and if it is weak, I will be calling them before I go anywhere else. You can by an Optima AGM battery for less and have a very good battery but I am convinced the VMAX are worth twice as much,,, Good Luck!

Hey Bob, Combat here. What would be a good battery for my HHR 2.4L . I live in Denver so we do get below zero about 30 times each winter? Thank You Combat
