    I'm going to grind the calipers don't think have to cut that much off.going with the 15 inch wheel,found one that is 7 in wide but off set is 35mm. not sure about that

    The Malibu rims are same width

    the oem 16 inch wheels arent wide enough. need 7 inch wide rim min.

    I know the OEM 16 inch steelies fit the SS 11.6 inch non Brembo brakes

    think your right about adaptor and spacers guess ill just have to figure on a 16 inch wheel
    the 16 inch MT are 255 50r 16
    will the 16 inch Malibu wheels fit over my brakes

    It’s a way of getting the job done, check your tracks safety rules , adapters aren’t allowed at my drag park, neither are stock studs , if your running slicks, you have to have 1/2 fine threaded grade 8 wheel studs. So, changing rotors and caliper brackets, you still use the same calipers and brake pads , four bolts a side! Two for the caliper and two for the caliper bracket.

    think ill go with an adaptor, then I can run the original wheels as daily driver and 15 inch wheels at races. does that sound right?

    You could spacer the wheel out but you might have other problems with fender clearances

    since I just change to the new rotors, can I put a spacer or adaptor to get away from the caliper

    you don’t have the big Brembo brakes.
    You have SS 11.6 inch rotors and caliper brackets
    To fit the 15 inch wheels you need to swap over to LS/LT
    10.4 inch rotors and caliper brackets
