Anyone interested in meeting up with me along the road or in KC, please PM me with a phone number where you can be reached so I can program it into my cell phone.

Looking forward to the trip more and more every day. Boogity...boogity...boogity...let's go racin.

I new on here also and would love to meet up with you, but I will be in Vegas that weekend. I'm in Salina, Kansas --right in between KC and Denver on I-70. When you pass through here you're only 173 miles from the track

If you happen to need gas at this point, you'll see some stations at exit 252(Ninth Street). Instead of those right by the exit, go south on Ninth street <1 mile and there will be a couple stations that maybe you can save a few cents/gallon.

Good Luck and Be Safe!

Hey...thanks for the tip daHHRth...sorry to hear you're going to be out of town. I've been to Salina a couple times, so I'm familiar with where it's at. Check the mileage last night and it looks like that's about where I'll probably need it too.

Mileage sign right west of town says 'Denver 444 miles'. According to what I been seeing on this site, that's about 1 tank of gas.

Since I got my ride, we been busy with my son's baseball games an such, so I haven't had time to go on a long trip yet, man, am I gettin' the itch to go somewhere.

I gonna just have to get out and go.....

That sounds about right and I figure that's probably the best place to stop anyway along the way. Thanks again for the info...I appreciate it.

If you ever need a place when you're itchin' to go...just head to Denver...we can have a great time.

Hey Deb,
Sounds like a good time to be had. If you think you might stop at Manhattan along the way (exit 313), let me know and I'll e-mail my phone number and Val and I will meet you for a soda or something.

Tony

So what's the schedule for Sunday? We're planning on driving cross-state, are we having breakfast or lunch? Where?
