I found a 3157NN AMBER bulb at Advance auto part and also had no low beam headlight. Simple to remove the fastners in wheel well, but a real adventure to find the bulbs. Twisted counterclockwise..turn signal in and ok, the headlamp had an adapter to get to prongs, this stayed on and made bulbs appear dissimilar. Poped off, attached to new bulb, inserted ok. Final problem for the Month , this is the 29th already. I also have not see security light in dash center come on...bulb or sensor or just leave along.

I'm right down 301 from F'burg and have good friend Gordon Gay lives in town. My HHR experiences reminds me of my Simca in 1966...drive like hell on Friday to DC from Ft Lee, in shop on Monday. French cars, never owned any since. Just saying
Got a 3157 Amber...at night turn signakl in front is close to one on passenger side. I get car inspected in June 21 so I plan to replace both headlight plastic bases..buy new ones with bulbs, lens will be amber, bulb is white OEM.
I'll need a video on changing out headlight assembly before I spring for 2 clear lens with bulbs prefer...will look for 3157, however so lens won't burn. Any videoout there? Had a VW Beetle diesel in 1999 and changing headlight bulb required moving a lever inside near the rear of the fixture before the bulb housing would pop out. Mechanic told me many come in with huge dent where someone put a screwdriver and tried to pop the les out! Ouch...expensive mistake.
