HHR-SS Pick-Um-Up-Truck
Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving to all on the site!
My name is Larry Gill (firea100) I live in East China Mi. (26 miles North of Detroit and 3/4 miles across the St Clair River from Sombra Ontario Ca.
I’ve purchased an HHR-SS that’s been rode hard and put away wet! (76,xxx miles) It’ll need a front clip, two front doors and a tailgate (rust). My plans are to convert it to a pick-up like Bob Bolander did. I’ve seen his pics and am looking to speak with someone about helping me with my project. (I’m willing to pay my way)
I’m a Disabled Navy Veteran and a retired professional firefighter. I’ve worked at Chrysler Engineering as an experimental mechanic (Highland Park Mi) and Holley Carburetor as a tool designer, years ago, after my Navy service. I’ve built a Dodge L-600 into a car/ truck hauler with a Dodge A-100 on the back (pics to follow) I’m not a village idiot but lack some of the body shop fabricating skills to do things correctly. I can read blueprints both architectural as well as mechanical and electrical. I’ve built two homes and put an 87’ addition on our current home. So if there are any guys out there that have some insite and or pics on a project like what I’m speaking of, please contact me. Either as a reply to my post or by PM. Thank You and I hope everyone has a Blessed Thanksgiving!
