Has anyone tried the Cherry Bomb glass pack tube muffler on the 2.4? Just curious how loud it is, and how it affected interior noise level. Also considering Cherry Bomb vortex, anyone tried that one?

I put on a Thrush 27" glass pack and it was stupidly loud. It was vibrating my brain in the cabin. Though I have a header and downpipe. With the stock header and dp it may be ok, but it the glass pack was way too loud for me. I ended up buying a magnaflow muffler and it sounds really good.

I haven't, I'm running the stock system, but in my experience glasspacks sound really raspy once they burn out. (about a month) On a 2.4L that would sound like "extreme rice"...... Very loud "extreme rice". If that's what you are after..... they will give it to you.

They also rot out in a few years as they are generally as cheaply made as possible.
