Lexan lid lift
So, I got a little bored and fabbed up a couple of Lexan airbox lids. I used 1/2" spacers to lift the lid.

There's limits to what this amateur can engrave. I haven't gotten any CELs, but the boost seemed a little inconsistant with the hallf lid; turbulence in the air stream perhaps. With 1/2" lift the lid just touches the filter keeping it locked in place.

X 2, :thumb: be interesting to see how it holds up to engine heat over a period of time..

Well, considering you can get Lexan heat shields for a motorcycle engine, I'm optimistic.

Well, the ones I see on a quick search go on a Harley. I don't know if a Harley puts off more or less heat from the head as my Yamaha liter bike, but the plastic on mine seems to not mind the heat.
