need moar loud
2009 hhr ss...
does anyone have aftermarket headers on their ss? cant find them anywhere.. |
Are they practical?
Being the turbo is part of the stock exhaust system it doesn't seem practical to redesign the exhaust system.
Some do a larger down pipe, remove the CAT, and replace the muffler with a straight pipe. I got good results with a mini glass pack replacing the "bread box" muffler and a "tune". |

Installing a header in front of a turbocharger is the best way to destroy the performance.
Oh, and few things on this Earth sound more obnoxious than a loud 4 cylinder. Attachment 24086 |
"Moar?" Stay in school, kids.

I've had nothing but compliments and positive comments regarding my muffler delete. Trust me I know what a annoying 4 sounds like. I'm from SoCal nothing but kids with rice Hondas with loud mufflers around here. My SS sounds NOTHING like that. I got my big boy boots on, save those clown shoes for the Hondas homie.
