performance exhaust

when we got our new to us HHR it sounded louder than some of the others that we had test drove. so i crawled under it and the muffler says GM performance accessories. so im assuming thats why its louder? i searched some threads on here to see what a stock muffler looked like and saw it looked different then saw what it said

GM Performance usually means SS.

GMPP Part number 19158628, was available for 2.2 and 2.4 HHR's , it was made by Borla. You can find it on EBay still

Several members have these on their rides!

SS as in stainless steel or your HHR is an SS? Your profile shows your year as 2006 or 2008.

If I remember right this link, also from my sig, will show how to Chevy HHR Network - Rules and FAQ

Failing that search "how-to edit your signature" which should pick up this sticky in the how-to section https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...gnature-53132/

But, every tool you need is in your "User CP". Found by clicking your user name in the banner at upper right.
