As soon as I get this Supercharger project of mine done I will install my radiator coverI bought as well. Don't wanna damage it while doing that major project, but been dying to get it on to finish off my engine compartment.

Did you give up trying to polish the one you made? Just curious is all.

Be Careful, these mirror polished panels Do scratch and Stain. After a rain go out and CLEAN it. Water drops dried on them will stain it, and unlike Paint it's a PITA to get them cleaned off without getting faint lite scratching.

Wax it up right away and be very careful wiping it off. It does help keeping the water spots easier to wipe off.

Oh and keep an eye on the screws, they do loosen over time. When I installed mine last year I also used foam weather stripping, 1.5X1.5" or something similar size wise, I forget the exact size I bought, but I put some on in different places under the hood before installing my mirror, I didn't want any rattles, has worked well for a year or more now.

Lost one screw/cap, thats how I know they do loosen up. Called the actual makers and they sent me another set for like 8 bucks. So now I got a few extras, just in case.

Nothing worse than opening your hood to show it and see a screw MIA!

If you didn't already, use some silicone caulk on the threads.
