Been silent lately, working on perfecting my newest not so secret tranformation
on the transformer with the guys from autoloc's help with purchasing solienoids & actuators and other high tech stuff should be finished soon and i can reveal pics & video of what i think is the first key fob opening electronic liftgate on a hhr hopefully when completed it will open and close from my alarm.
Imagine lambo doors go up! then trunk lifts up.

Well I'd like to see it completed and depending on cost perhaps give it a try. I would really like a remote gate.

 

We're all held in quiet suspense awaiting the final product!

Jeff - Since your's is a themed car - I totally think the lambo's work. Afterall it's a transformer! Transformer's open up and stuff. The hatch is a great idea too. Wonder what it would take to split the hatch in half horizontally and have the second part actuated as well. Like Old School tail gates on wagons. That would look killer as a sequencial opening....Doors up, hatch splits and opens. Way cool brother. Takes props to make themed cars, EVERYone has some opinion - some know how to express their's better than others.
