Any interest in a fiberglass hood?

If you could integrate the grill into the hood, like, omit it entirely and make it just smooth, that would look hot. I know its not good for cooling, but I think airflow could be improved upon somehow with maybe another cowl or something.

I'm definitely interested, but i need a functional scoop for my top mount intercooler. I was thinking of a low and wide scoop kinda like the new Shelby Mustang Super Snake hoods, that would look sick.

I vote for the cowl induction hood. Use the '69 Chevelle as the model. Make the door on top functional like it was on the Chevelle. Incorporate a tunnel on the underside of the hood to direct the air to the top of the air box. I can make my own seal (I did it for the functional scoop on my Cobalt SS). Expect some smirks - as teens (and Ford fans at the time) we called the '69 Chevelle set-up a "Cow Induction" - Moooooo. Is the air box in a different place on the SS and the rest of the line? If so it would take two liner designs.

Yes, and no....... It's in about the same location but the top doesn't come off the LS/LT air box. So that kind of setup wouldn't apply.

Definetly cowl induction style, similar to 70 chevellle with fuctional air supply door, vacuum actuated. I would like to see one smooth raised area, not double humped like the few that I have already seen done here pictured on this thread. Not that there is anything wrong with that look, just my preference. I would definitely put my order in if this was to transpire.

I almost went with a cowl which was smooth, but it was taller and wider(teaser designs) but i thought it took up too much of the hood.

I totally agree, you would not want the cowl area any bigger than what you have there, that width and height looks perfect for the size of our hoods. You have done an amazing job on that car, looks awsome.
