Best Paint for Grill Mod?

I need to do a Front Grill for my Panel, I had modded/painted a Chrome Grill but the paint has bubbled and peeled and looks like hell. I am going to mod/paint my original Silver painted Grill. Could anyone suggest a good and durable paint?

The color will be in Satin Black.

Thanks in advance

you might try flat black paint dip also none as rubber dip. I did a jeep years ago and was happy also it will peal off if you change your mind later. Some one had a green hhr on here that they did the hole car this week. If you look on utube year will also find ways to do it

Prep work is the key to a good paint job.
Sanding, cleaning and a good base or primer coat are needed before the application of the top coat.

Good advise Fireman, I couldn't have said it better. I am thinking of spraying mine.

You will want a high temp rattle can, unless you mean the grille on your HHR... in which case, you will want to do good prep work, and find a good plastic primer, and paint.

Rustoleum paint sticks like glue, & gets hard as nails.. It ain't rocket science here. :D
