Does anyone know about this hood scoop?

Moonsign and I saw this posted on the HHR SS Owners Group on Facebook and he posted into the thread, and I sent the guy a PM asking about this scoop... no reply either way yet.

Anyone have a clue about this scoop? This is the one I wan.., no, I have to have it... MY PRECIOUS!

That looks like Moon's scoop. I ordered mine today, with a volunteer hood.

When I saw this on Facebook, I thought it was Moon's, until he posted right after me. His is a tad bit smaller.

The S10 hood is nice too.

That is Black beautys ss , He was banned from this site years ago , A nice guy , Bartss may know how to contact him. I think he's on the s. side of chicago and is at C.E.D. every year. I think you can find bart on the cobalt site.

Okay here's a question for everyone. About this style scoop. I would imagine it would be beneficial with the airaid setup I have if it were a functional scoop. But how would you keep water from getting in???

Washboard baffles and a poly filter would do the trick

Okay I looked them up. Kinda like a cheese grater? So then you would have to cut a hole in the hood and mount the scoop?
