Angry Fighting the good fight?

Any help on removing my original chrome mirror caps to put on my black ones that i recently purchased.
Tried razor blade no success.

Jeff. Move mirror so it faces in the cabin and pop the clips behind it.. there are 4 if I remember right, once you have popped the ones on the outside, face the mirror outward and repeat for the ones closer to the mirror mount.. repeat for the other side.

if they are just the "add a cap" style they are on with 3m...heat gun..plastic pry toll..and patience..heat the backside of the mirror till the glue on the 3m loosens up a bit...best to use a hair dryer than an actual heat gun..no fear of melting anything with a blow dryer

They are the original chrome covers that come with the chrome appearance package on my LT.
does that help?

Not enough time in the day!

sorry no not yet havn't had time to work on it will try in the next few day been very busy working & editing jobs not enough time to play with the car but thank you to all for your sugestions!!
