our Hood is covered about 1/3 of it! never heard of someone that does the install saying the hood is to tough to do .....

either they can do clear bra's or not ..... also the price hear in California (usually on the high end) was $550.00, bumper, hood, lights and mirrors .....

check with other company's as far as doing a complete HHR with hood, most can do it .....

Mine is not the full hood. At the center above the grille it's probably 12".
So looking at the shape and how it runs around the grille. I would guess it's from a 24" wide roll. The shape of the hood - the whole hood would be tough to do. I have nothing on the bumper.

I would take a pic but you won't be able to see it- other than a fine line at the edge it's invisible.

As far as how long it lasts... the good stuff the 3M installer or bodyshop uses.

This is probably the 6th vehicle I have used it on. Never had an issue.
My brother had it on a '99 windstar he just traded last summer.

You really have to know what you are doing to get the 3M stuff on so it looks good. I have it on the front of our motorhome, had to have a section replaced, and it took two installers to get it right. For the HHR I just use the GM mini-bra that covers the front of the hood. When I tow it behind the motorhome, I have a cover for the entire front end, including the windshield.

Probably because it comes up to 24" wide rolls.
Another brand up to 30" http://www.invisiblemask.com/bulkfilm.htm

Even it it could be found would you want to work with that stuff in a 6'x6' piece and get it to cover that bubble of a hood with no wrinkles?
