grille guard/brush guard

G'morning all...have been looking for a grille guard/brush guard for my 07 HHR without much success. Anyone have one? Can you let me know where to get one? Any help would be truly appreciated.

Can't say I've seen anyone make one. If would have to be home grown.

I haven't seen one either, like mentioned you may have to make your own, but maybe you could mod one to fit from another car. You would have to fab some mounting bracket's and Pic's will be a must if you do it! If you can use photo shop you can see what the HHR would look like with one :)
Good luck! and WELCOME to the Group!

I seriously doubt that anyone makes a brushguard for a HHR. Not the kind of car for one, much less a car that would be taken off road where you need one.
But. As the others said, you could fab up your own or mod one from another vehicle to fit.
If you do get/make/mod one, I bet it will be a first.

to the forum!

To echo the posts above, never have run across a brush guard for the HHR. One basic reason, there isn't enough structure to bolt one up to.

The front bumper underneath the cover is just formed sheet metal, not very substantial at all.

One member here looked into adding a brush guard, but ultimately shelved the project after seeing how much fab work and reinforcement would be required.

Unfortunately, no one makes one...I've searched pretty thoroughly. I am going to make one fit though, a used unit from an old cop car is my planned test subject. I just haven't had much luck locating one that is straight and reasonably inexpensive. Once I do, it's on.

I don't take her off-road, but I think the brush guard would look pretty aggressive on it...I'm definitely gonna try it.

The grille is installed.
Did not like. Is empty. Decided to install a Chevrolet emblem.

Alteration of the Chevrolet emblem for the new grille
Separate the plastic from the case

Bronze powder

Mix with varnish and cover from the inside.

Drill and insert the bolt.

We get in the end.
The painted part is fixed to the body with 3M tape
