Don't know. There is some logic involved to turn off fog lights when the hi beams are on.

Ok, what about when I unlock the car, which lights come on?

I have a feeling it's the brights or it's the DRLs.

Anyone know???

Did we discover Canadian models were different from U.S. models? My brain is itching.

It has to be 35w otherwise it will melt the projector.

I'm about to order all the parts now, man it's going to be so awesome when it's done.

Question...
Any tips to get the headlight apart, I heard they can be very difficult compared to the depos.

The may be Don, perhaps a wiring diagram is in order

Most folks buy the Depos so they can take them apart.

The OEM headlight assemblies are almost impossible.

Nobody has done it?
I want to use the original because I have an extra set and want to keep the factory chrome look.

There needs to be a way, I just ordered everything!!!

What could make it hard or impossible?

Putting them in an oven and screw driver apart?

firemangeorge Mar 11, 2016 09:54 PM

Because the OEM headlights are basically melted shut during the manufacturing process. Not designed to be taken apart.
I think the term is "non serviceable".

Ok, so I heard cutting would work?

Know anyone that has successfully done it?
