And here post #12, I just didn't want you going through the return and refund aggravation.

Thanks Oldblue, I did not catch that. Looks like I will have to rule that out of my ideas. Thank you for your help buddy.

Preparing them correctly , I had them hot tanked at my engine builders , then a coat of etching primer, high solids primer, scuff sand between coats, four coats of Chrysler red engine enamel, scuff smooth with 600 grit, two coats of clear gloss!
All was done over a few weeks to allow the paint to cure, I mounted the tires months later in the fall.
I dread the thought of doing all that again but I might have to in the next 2 or 3 years!

My wife thinks more like Oldblue = mental case!! You should ask her how I cleaned the stainless steel sink in the kitchen! Think Mothers Powerball and a drill with a pinch of Mothers Metal polish!!
It is show quality shiny!

Funny thing, I was actually looking in your gallery because I saw your rims. I had trouble finding baby moons on a silver body. I really like them but in order to get the baby moons I would have to get a different set of steel wheels as my 5 spoke ones are not compatible.
