I did have these spider lights in for a summer or two , cop gave me a verbal warning for modifying a safety system on the car.
Would you be interested in unloading them on someone living in a "less restrictive" state?

I wasn't happy with the LED's anyway, so I took them out and sold them.

I took mine last week and got a state inspection done and the inspector never mentioned the quick flashing and she passed with flying colors.

Different states/provinces have different standards. Knew a guy that got a ticket for touching up the paint on his rear plate numbers, that got worn off by frequent car washes. If he had left it alone it would not have been "altering". But, the cop didn't like the guy to begin with.

Oldblue' you mentioned that 3rd brake light led's don't play well with the cruise control. How so? I love led's and want them everywhere (except headlights)

The center mounted high stop light must be sending the correct resistance to the BCM for the cruise to work.

If you put standard (no resistor) LEDS in it the resistance will not be enough for the BCM.
