LED headlight bulbs?!?!

Has anyone had any experience with these LED headlight bulbs, or heard anything about them? They claim to put out 2200 lumens each and it says they can go into factory halogen housings. Looks like a possible good option, $200 for the drop in kit rather than upwards of $300 to get projectors, HID, and do all the work to retrofit, but it almost seems like it's too good to be true. Opinions from lighting fanatics and experts??

I don't know how much I like the idea. It seems good, cheaper in the long run without bulb replacement, but do you not get people flashing you all the time for the low beams being bright as is? lol I do.. That would just serve to anger them more I would think. lol

Are your headlights aimed too high? I've never had this happen when I'm driving it, and my wife (who is the party driver of the hhr) hasn't mentioned it. I've seen plenty of other hhrs on the street and never noticed their lights to be too bright (and that kind of thing really bugs me. I pull people over all the time for driving with their brights on.)

As long as your beam patterns are proper, brighter shouldn't make much difference to other drivers on the road.

They claim too be great and brighter, only way too confirm it is buy a set, and let us know of your opinion after you install and try them for a few weeks. And for the record headlight aim is the root cause of the head light flash from oncoming traffic.

I properly aimed my headlights per spec, and still get flashed...

Turn them down a little more, Had to do that with the SS when I stuck HID's in it....

100.00 a bulb seems a little high, I'm not that curious, but I already have Hid in both HHRs.

I have these in mine, they do not line up properly in our housing, and put out bad light. So if you unscrew them a little bit so one led is pointing up and the other is pointing down it works and the light output is fixed, but for right now I am using tape to get the to stay in the correct way. So they do not really work in our housings. But if you want that nice white hid look they do the job. As far as light output they are bright, but have a narrower beam and out put from the ground to the top of trees. So I think they can be blinding but no one has ever flashed me or said anything, and when I'm driving next to someone with an hid kit they are way more blinding making mine seem like normal lights so since I have never been I front of myself I do not know if they are blinding but I would imagine so.
