Nose Bra ?

Hi All,

I'd like to get a nose bra for Baby (bugs in Fla. are hellacious), but I have concerns about water and soap from the automatic carwash getting underneath it and ruining the paint. I'm also concerned about flapping against the paint at highway speeds. Am I worrying for nothing or is it a real concern ?

Thanks !

You would take it off before going through the car wash, should be clean and dry when putting it on. Shouldnt be much flapping in the wind if its on there properly.
When I had one on other vehicles, I only used it for highway trips. You need to take it off periodically to prevent paint fading and dirt buildup.

I have a Colgan, they didn't pad the momofiliment stitching on the fender clips so they left marks in my clear coat, plan on inserting some felt there and it will be fine. I was surprised they would do something like that with out protecting the paint, It's hard to find good help these days on mater how much you pay.

I have Colgan bras on both of my HHR's. No paint problems and its been on for over two years. However my cars have never been to a car wash. Weekly washes are done by hand. At high speeds there is no movement. Fit is very very good. Tried three other types and they cannot hold a candle to the Colgan product. My 97 Dodge truck has had the bra on for over one year. No trouble there either. Its a great product!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad to hear yours are good, and I bought this one based on testimony like yours, however, they may have changed something between when yours was made and mine, it's the new carbon fiber look. Just in case you think I am hallucinating,..... take a look I haven't fixed it yet, and I only had it on there 300 miles. See the three lines worn into my clear coat ?

Heres is a couple of mine. I have lebra. Had it for two years. No paint issue at all. I put it on and take it off every few weeks. Only takes a few minutes to install.
I noticed in your signature you have a red hhr. maybe these pics will give a good reference.
