Roof Rack Removal

Trying to figure out how to remove roof rack on my '08. Haven't been able to find any videos to help out. Any suggestions? All help is appreciated.

Welcome to the site! The retaining bolts are hidden under the covers attached to the roof , are you planning on leaving it off, or just to paint your car ?

caps

pop the caps when they are warm they like to snap in the cold weather lift bumper side and slide tounge out from metal side rail

Hi guys. I tried to unscrew the bolts on my rack and they keep spinning forever. Do i have to hold the nuts inside (remove the roof liner) ?

Sound like whoever installed it either used nuts or drilled the holes too large.

I think your only option is to remove the headliner and hold them from the inside.
