Running Boards?

Well, It's happened to me again. Yesterday I saw a beautiful gold/brown HHR pass me by with what I guess were stock running boards.

My 2009 does not have running boards and I really REALLY wish it did.

Can anyone direct me on how to correct this?

Thanks ever so much in advance,

Tim

I have seen them on the forum cheap, If someone is selling them. I'd say first check a junk yard, and hope to find your color(cheaper). If not, they are anywhere from $350-$400 shipped on ebay, and other parts places...

I am making a set out of aluminum that will have back-lit lettering on the top surface. No painting required and super easy to install. Will post pics on my Buick project as soon as I get them done. If you like them and wanted me to make a set for you, I am sure that we could work something out.

I bought mine on eBay for about $200 each. One I had to paint. You have to remove the stock rocker panels to install the boards. Cost me about $600.00 time I painted them and had them installed.

Use the Search to find a detailed instruction with photos.

I love the running boards.

I have a used set in good shape but sand worn on the bottom so I got a new primer set, Couldn't put the used ones on , I too anal lol

Figure 250/350$ avg for paint Shipping is about 125$ so IMO better off buying new for the extra 125$ or so.
