will "panel" rear door panels fit non panel hhr?
I'm sure they'll fit, but, what about the trim that goes around the window? would this work?
The door itself will bolt right up. I've never looked at the interior door panel to see if it's a seperate piece around the window.
Theoretically speaking could you gorilla glue it on and use silicone to seal it?
im thinking about getting the panel door panel, and cutting the top piece off so i still have my window. reason being, im walling my hhr from the front seats back, and i want just plain rear doors there with nothing on them.
Im thinking of doing similar. Putting a mid compartment in the back, of which, will not fit with the ls lt door frames.
what do you mean by mid compartment? the little storage thing that comes in panels?
Yes, the locking "mid panel compartment" storage.
Yeah, he wanted to put the panel mid compartment in his non-panel. Doors wouldn't close.
Because the difference in width on the box to seat is off by a couple inches..
i see.
if i find a pair of the rear panels for a good price, i may buy them. |
Try a trade with a panel owner who would rather have a half-panel.
I'd rather have a full panel, 2.4 with a 5sp.. but I don't know anyone here who would do a straight up trade..
I thought you wanted an SS....
i almost bought a panel when i got my hhr new, but i didnt. kinda wish i would have!
Greybeard, an SS panel. ;)
That wouldn't have the 2.4L then......
The other would be acceptable. But I would rather have a Panel SS
So if you've got a 'regular' HHR now, and you put on panel doors, wouldn't that look a bit funny with glass in the 1/4's?
i want to cut that part out. the panel would be wrapped, so i can mod the panel. even if i didnt cut it out, my windows are tinted and you can't see through them anyways lol
