3 gauge pod dash mount.

Since no one going make a gauge pod pillar I going to make my own gauge pod on the dash. It well be mounted to the door of the cubbyhole. Right in it rough stages of it but with some trimming it will look sick!!

Here's some pics what may look like:

This is just but, I would remove the center glove box lid, and cant the tri-pod toward the drivers seat some. Be able to see the gauges more clearly.

I know, I can do that but I would lose that space in cubbyhole which I don't want to because I have plans for it. What I am doing is trimming the back and the sides to what I want them to be. Gave me this weekend I'll show ya.

I was thinking along the same lines as you. A A-Pillar would be Nice to have for our HHR's sure would make it easier.
I have a spare pair that I got so I can mold in the larger Tweeters and thought of making the gauges to fit it at the same time, but thats alot of added work.

I was looking at Glow Shift Gauges and they have several Pods listed in the "Universal" catagory. They have a dual gauge one for $11.99, and a Triple for $14.99 and one at $24.99.

Undecided if I want Dual or Triple.

Thats a good spot as we can keep the space under it.

Yours looks to almost fit, maybe a heat gun Carefully used to heat the insides at the lip, then Press and Tape it down in place as it cools would mold it to a closer fit.

Were did you get yours?

You planning on Fiberglassing it in, or using dbl faced tape to hold it in place?

Keep us posted on how you end up mounting it.

What gauges are you planning on using?

I got the pod from glow shift on ebay and very fast shipping by the way. The set I am going with is dual Interceptor gauges and third one I haven't made my mind up on what to put there as of yet. As far fiberglassing I don't know yet I may just take 3m tape to it until I fine someone to help me fiberglass cause I never have done it before.
