LED Light Count

Hi Guys,

I'm wanting to give a set of LED's, or an LED light kit, as a christmas gift. This is for a 2009 HHR, the problem is, I don't have access to the car and I can't seem to find how many LED's I would need for the interior of the car I've been able to find a list of each light that will be needed, but not the quantity that i would need. Does anyone have this info on hand?

I know that these are the lights i'll need, anyone have an idea of the quantity of each?

License Plate Light Bulb Size: 168 (need 2)
Back Up Light Bulb Size: 921(need 2)
Glove Box Light Bulb Size: 194 (need 1)
Map Light Bulb Size: 2825LL (unsure of quantity)
Dome Light Bulb Size: 562 (unsure of quantity)
Trunk/Cargo Area Light Bulb Size: PC168 (unsure of quantity)

I'm new here, so I apologize if this is the wrong area to post this.

upsyndrome. Might I suggest IPCW LED Tail light set for the HHR? It has built in resistors, and they look SAH-WEET on the vehicle. I have a set of Bermuda Black on my Metallic Black HHR. Love them. Many compliments. Plug and play. You can find them here.

Also, the rest of your count sounds right..

Dome Light Bulb Size: 562 (unsure of quantity) - not sure as car is not here - hopefully someone else can chime in.

my dome light only has one bulb, and about the glove box light, I don't have one at all, for that matter I don't think any others do either.

remember if you switch to LED, you will need resistors for every bulb, especially the signals since they will "hyper-flash" (blink fast) ...if that bothers you and the dome light bulbs will glow faintly if you dont put the resistor in also.

I dont think the IPCW lights came with resistors since they still blink fast for me

also if you change the top brake light bulbs on the hatch, you will lose the Cruise control feature for some reason.
