Seat foam pads

Anyone know if/what the difference is between the foam pad on the power and non-power seats? I acquired a set of seats to convert my interior from the always dirty looking pale grey to ebony, but the bolsters on the driver's seat are a little worn. I can take off the pads from my old seat, which are in better condition, but it's a manual seat. GMpartsdirect doesn't list the part numbers for the pads since they went obsolete long ago.
If I have to, i'll build up the pad with new foam, and maybe add a little extra at the edges, but I need the car every day at the moment, so I need at least one of the seats complete at any one time.

Thanks, the GMpartsdirect website lists a lot of things as w/power and w/o power, even the headrests and armrests, I've no idea why they'd be different, maybe the cloth??

Foam in the seat cushions is contoured for the power seat , which is different from the manual seat, the power seat cushion is thinner

Well I pulled the new seat apart on Thursday, and since it didn't take too long, I decided to pull my existing seat apart at the weekend and check. The frame for the seat back, which has the worst damage to the foam, is identical with the exception of the lumbar support motor bracket, and some heavier wires in the support. The seat base pressings are different, since the power seat has an aperture for the wiring, and the manual one has the fitting for the ratchet height adjuster, but measure exactly the same overall, and in the position of the support relative to the side rails.

The pads are apparently identical, they have the same mold ID on them, and from feel of the undegraded parts, and weight they seem to be made in the same density foam.

Anyway, I swapped the pads over and now have the manual seat back in the car, with the worse pad. Even though the other pad is in much better shape, I'm just going out to see if I can get some more foam to build it up a little on the bolsters to take out the stretch in the fabric, it's a tiny bit baggy.
The passenger seat base is also the same in dimensions, the pad is different since it has the roll that goes up over the pivot bar under the shorter seat back with the high pivot point. It's asymmetrical by about 0.5 inch across the base but could at a pinch be trimmed to fit the driver's side. Why would you do this? It might be the best way to refurb a driver's seat once the foam degrades in a few years and there aren't any new parts available, the passenger side parts are generally less worn.
More pics in the gallery, I didn't want to overload the post.

Finally finished. Had to swap the sensor module and seat base on the passenger side, the later module wouldn't talk to the airbag system, the sensor has changed from a fluid-filled bladder under the seatpad to a flat device stuck onto the surface.
I got the covers to smooth out by just cinching down the tiewraps that I used in place of the hogrings, so I didn't need any additional padding.

Thanks for posting those pics! I'm sure that'll be great help for others over time...

Refitted all the interior now, with black luggage compartment panels to replace my scarred grey ones. I decided to keep the grey upper halfs though, since the other pillar trims are still grey.
