Speaker upgrades

For those who dont know, I am Deaf. I was implanted with Cochlear 2015 so I can hear again.
My issue is the speakers are more of a high frequency to me and I just cant get enough BASS out of them, what size speakers go in the front/rear doors a well as the bass box in the rear? What speakers are you running with the stock radio for better sound? I really dont seem to hear the bass box doing much unless its turned up loud, I dont really need loud, just want better sound at a normal level. Thanks for your input.

** I currently use N7 Processors which are bluetooth, I can direct stream from my iphone and not hear anything else around me if I wish but it drains the batteries fast using bluetooth so I prefer not to go that route, unless the family is listening to some really crappy music LOL **

You might start with investigating the frequency range of you implants and their microphones. No point crrranking up frequencies they can’t respond to.
Or is there?

There are forums and groups devoted to builting rigs that can literally make parts fall off your car. A big bass-boosting built benefit is the thumping that is felt in the chest, not “heard”, per se. Bonus points for inflicting pain on the occupants of surrounding cars.

If you have a 2LT you already have the Pioneer Premium speaker upgrade with the subwoofer I think. I imagine you’ve already tested the limits of the EQ settings to the annoyance of your passengers.

The Pioneer system isn’t all that bass oriented, probably just the amplifier, could be the subwoofer.

I used this How-to and installed another amplifier and subwoofer. Huge difference.
