SS seats in LT

I tried to search this, and if there is already a thread that answers this question(s) please show me the way.

Can any year SS seats fit into a 2006 LT. And if so, can I install my LT armrests into the SS seats that don't have them ?

Thanks

I am looking at these assuming that they are "more" comfortable than the standard seats I have. I have not really had an issue with my existing seats, but I have 220,000 miles in the drivers seat, and I sense that my butt/back is not as comfortable as it used to be. This is hard to verify, because any change in the seat has been very slow & over time.

I am also looking at just trying to replace the foam in the drivers seat as an option. The seats look in perfect condition.

The SS's look sporty and like they have more side support on the back rest, but is there really any difference in the seat itself?

At this point, I can't find a new car that i'd buy to replace the HHR (Subaru Outback is the closest comparable IMHO) so I am going to keep putting money into this, including engine / tranny if needed.

I'd appreciate any input , good, bad, or indifferent. Thanks

They are in California, as you say, local pickup only, I'm in Maryland

I have found a set of black cloth SS about 4 hours away from me in Pennsylvania, but I am rethinking if it is worth the $$ & drive.

If the SS is not "more comfortable" . I might just try and rebuild the padding in what I have since they are in perfect shape otherwise.

It will also depend on which SS seats you are looking at. There are 2 styles (not counting the 3 color choices).
There are the regular SS seats and the SS performance seats. Different bottom padding between the two. The performance ones had more side "bolstering" or whatever you call it.

How can I tell if it is a Performance Seat ? I am working with junk yards,,,,,errrrr, auto recyclers,,,,,,,so I can only get as much info from them as I can. To them a seat is a seat.
