Hi. Merry Christmas. I have been meaning to write this posting for a while. I live in Schenectady and travel to Buffalo for work about once or twice a month. (I stay in Amherst.) I don't travel out there often in my car as I have a work provided vehicle - but I would love to hook up with some of you sometime as it is always fun to meet fellow HHR owners. For instance my last trip out there, there was a mighty fine Black HHR with a hood scoop and bullet grill tooling down the 290. So I wondered if you owners met along the river in the Tonawanda/North Tonawanda area since it is so nice there. Thanks.

There's a small, but enthusiastic, group of HHR owners from the Buffalo, Rochester and Southern Tier area as well as Southern Ontario, Canada who get together now and then. We're not a car club in the formal sense, preferring to be a loosely organized, friendly, non-political bunch who just like to get together and hang out with our cars. Over the past two years we've been represented in force at the annual GM Powertrain Car Show taking 2 of the 3 top place awards in our class in both 2007 and 2008. In addition, we've had informal gatherings from time to time in such places as Niagara Falls, Letchworth State Park and Batavia. As a matter of fact, I'll probably be seeing if we can round up the gang in February at our "unofficial" clubhouse, the Center Street Smokehouse in Batavia. That location is equally inconvenient for everyone!
Check out the Google map link below to see where we're all located...and let me know if you want a place on our map. Schenectady ain't that far away!
