Butch, the numbers and letters are parts codes for EVERYTHING in and on your vehicle.

For the numbers in the glove box you can read this link: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/general-hhr-4/rpo-code-lists-options-12674/

Scroll down for year / RPO codes for it. Hope that helps.

For what its worth, I looked for my paint code in my glove box sticker and here's what I found. The 58U is my paint code. At the tip of my finger.

Wow, good site! The options and build date for my HHR are exactly the same as ChevMgr provided for me, so I know it must be accurate.

I like the rarity field at the bottom that indicates how may vehicles have the exact same options list. Mine happens to be the only one of its kind, but I'm sure that there are alot of others out there that fall into this category with the HHR model. I checked my 2002 S10 4x4 and there are 4 exactly like it.

First of all your car is a 5 speed 2008 LT1 not a 2010 according to your vin code. That threw me off while trying to search for a 58U red paint code for an HHR. Cardinal Red and Victory Red are the 2 red colors from that year. Victory Red being the brighter of the 2 and Cardinal Red being a bit more on the darker side.
However, EVERYTHING I am finding to the net is telling me that a 58 color code for 2008 is actually Carbon Flash Metallic.

2008 Chevrolet HHR Paint Codes
Color Color Description Color Code
Cashmere Metallic 15/WA929L
Imperial Blue Metallic 37U/WA403P
Mystique Blue Metallic 39/WA520Q
Black 41/WA8555
White 50/WA8624
Orange Fusion Metallic 56U/WA913L
Carbon Flash Metallic 58/WA501Q
Light Tarnished Silver Metallic 67/WA994L
Red 74/WA9260
Techno Gray Metallic 75/WA411P
Merlot Jewel Metallic 79/WA517Q
Dark Smoke Gray (matt) WA501F
Black (matt) WA848/WA8555
