Want to go for a hike?

She just smashed right through it!

Boston's about 60-70 miles behind the dog

We were up on Mt. Watatic (1,821 feet) seen from Nutting Hill (1,611 feet) on the way back to the HHR (~1100 feet).

Mount Wachusett 6-25-10

Hiked a few more miles of the Midstate Trail from Redemption Rock in Princeton Ma to Mount Wachusett (2006 ft. elevation) in Westminster Ma yesterday.
It was about 80° F, the bugs were ravenous and there's a chain link fence around the fire tower.
I think it's time to head North, higher elevations, cooler temps and, yeah baby, waterfalls

About 10 years ago I scurried straight up where the gondolas are carrying bags of fireworks on July 4 with some friends.

I re-sprained my ankle last July so that was the last hike last year.

All better now so short & sweet for starters

Stopped at Trap Falls in Ashby, Mass on the way to Royalston today.

It was sunshowering in Royalston so here's a rainbow and a buzzard

SS running boards

Waited at dusk at a spot that I saw moose before but all I caught there tonight was the full moon.
