What is the best gas mileage you have seen?

I just went to Boise and back to Salem last weekend. On the way over I got 35.6 mpg. On the way back we hit a hard head wind in the Gorge and I got 31.3 mpg. I did not really take it easy either way and once in Idaho I cruised along at 80. Did not see any other HHR's on the trip either which I thought was weird as they seem to be more popular since getting mine in early 07.

37.2 mpg last week in a 2010 LS rental, it was a non-stop run of just over 400 miles on the interstate. The best I've ever done in one of mine was 35.3 mpg in the '07 LS (Paddy) on a similar non-stop 400+ mile run. The average speed on last week's run was 74 mph between fuel stops.

Best I can get is 25.7 and it sucks

I run 17 miles to work 15 of it highway with cruise set at 60

That's pretty lousy mileage. which engine ?

Is your air filter clean, & or maybe need new spark plugs ?

34.3 in an SS various speeds between 50-70

I hit 38.8 mpg 2.4 auto. The next highest was 38.3 with several 35+ mpg. Average is 30.6 mpg.

Very best I done was 39.1 mpg us gallon, but on flat freeway roads roads at 55 miles per hour on a 2 hour trip. Not the usual drive. I would say good normal highway driving averages about 35 mpg. :clappy:

2.4 auto filter is clean and it has 68,000 miles on it

38mpg and that's with my wife driving.

I have averaged a best of 31 in the city. I don't do freeway driving so it is 100% city numbers for me.
