Wave if you see a Victory Red 2LT HHR in Renton!

Hi, I'm so excited with my new ride that it is nearly 3AM. I took delivery at noon today and basically drove around all evening. And believe it or not, even with the A/C running the gas gauge barely moved off "F"!

I intended on purchasing the nicest HHR I could with the money I had saved. I knew I wanted the 2LT package, with heated leather seats and a moonroof. My first color choice was black, then red, maroon metallic, gray metallic.

Turns out it was really hard to find what I was looking for. But today, on a whim, I returned to Good Chevrolet in Renton. I had given them two days and was about to head down to the SuperMall for a big used car sale in hopes of finding my HHR there.

Well, the guys at Good Chevrolet came through for me. Turns out they took a 2008 HHR 2LT in trade the day before. 6662 miles. Victory Red with Black interior. As it sat it the cost was too much and on top of that it didn't have the leather heated seats. Well, like I said, they really did come through. They are having black leather heated seats put in for me on Wednesday and got me out the door tax, license and total for the exact amount I could afford. I'm so thrilled. I even got it Certified so even though it has miles on it, the Warranty is starting as if I bought it brand new today.

So, if you see a Victory Red with polished 17" wheels (NO spoiler!) make sure you wave!

Oh man! When I saw the wavy frown, I thought you were the moderator and I had been banned for posting too long a story or something!!! :)

Thanks for the welcome. I'm excited to go DRIVE!

Well, when I began internettin' back in 1996 on my trusty Mac, I already had been a long time Chevy fan. Back in the "Golden Years" of GM (50's through the 60's) many or most of Chevrolet's V8 engines were painted orange. If you're at your car parts store anytime soon look at the Krylon and you'll see a "Chevy Orange" paint color.

Thus, chevyorange!

Interesting? hahaha... I have seriously considered trying to do a really neat orange paint job on the block and valve cover.. but know I'd just F it up. :)

Here's a history of my cars since 1992: http://www.chevyorange.com/Adams_Homepage/Cars.html

I have yet to remove my 1996 Buick Riviera S/C coupe and put pics up of "The Red Sled" but will get around to it soon.
