Yelm "Christmas In the Park" Parade

I know this is a bit early, bu I have a cool, fun idea for my Brownie Girl Scout troop for the parade this year.

I was thinking it would be cool to use HHRs to carry the girls in...and show off our cars at the same time.

I will put our troop and a club banner on my car, and all the HHR's will be decorated in a christmas theme.

I have 7 girls in my troop (hopefully will be 8). We have two HHRs for sure. I would like at least one more to participate with us.

The girls will sit in the back with the hatch open and toss candy to the crowds. When we get to the judging aread, the girls will all hop out and sing the "Brownie Smile Song".

Let me know if you are at all interested. It will be a lot of fun.

We will do hot coco and donuts or something before and after the parade.

I am hoping this can happen.

If it works out good, we can try to do this for a lot of the Yelm, Roy and other NW parades too. I know my Brownies would love it and would be great for all us adults too.

Angel....that is a splendid idea and I commend you BUT......

Driving with the rear lift gate open actually PULLS exhaust fumes into the car, by GM's testing. That is one of the reasons they do not have opening cargo area windows or an opening lift gate window.

Could be very dangerous even at very low "crawling" speeds.

THanks for that info, hun.

They could always hang out the rear passenger windows...lol.
