Hey All,

thought I would share this, in case any HHR owners felt like trying this. Always hated the chrome plastic on the front of the Hummer, so 2 cans of bed liner, some sandpaper, and a few hours time gave this. The crinkle effect of the paint looks and feels great. The semi-matte finish is nice too. Easy to apply if you do several (think 10 or more) LIGHT coats. the stuff likes to puddle when applied too thick, but can be layered, to get rid of any blemishes.

The last pic I just had to throw in there, my son dropped a bolt in there, and I thought it was one of those "priceless" moments.

Looking good. How's about an explanation for the book in the picture?

:twothumbs: Looks spiffy, takes away the "bling" that Hummers don't really need.

It's what she was reading at the time. Honestly, she is like a supervisor when working on cars. She sets herself up with a chair and iced yea, and sometimes I can almost hear banjos while she watches.lol.
