Crazy with paint!

I got sick of the cashmere theme for the HHR so I decided to add black into the mix...

I used krylon fusion spray paint for plastic. Didnt bother with a clear coat since it looks shiny already.

Looks really cool...I like the way it breaks up the color in the interior.

I also like the steering wheel cover...makes it look much better than stock steering wheel that is on my 1LT.

thanks all. Here's are answers to some of the questions:

im thinking of doing the same area in blue to match exterior along with the strips on the doors...what kinda paint and how did you prep?
I used krylon fusion spray paint for plastic. Other than cleaning prior to painting no other prep is involved. Two coats and I was done.

I also like the steering wheel cover...makes it look much better than stock steering wheel that is on my 1LT.
I purchased the cover from wheelskins.com.

ARE THOSE CENTER BEZELS HARD TO REMOVE?
Nope, not at all. All you need is a flat head scredriver inserted in the right hand side (vent level) and pry it open. Do a search for socal's radio install and it will show you how to remove the front cover.

Looking good!!

It really is an easy process, even I was able to do it. It make such a giant difference in the feel of the interior!

Keep up the good work!

Cool

Looks great, but put a clear coat over it for a deeper look.
I did this with a dash kit and did the side stripes on the door also.
