Until were Done with the snow crap here, I won't put them on with all the darn Salt they dump on the roads. We just got done with this>

Still some patches melting, I Hate winter.

I have a couple more Mods up my sleeve.

Double0,
Mine is Not a Stull, as far as I know, the Stull Billets came with a surround that was the Top and Side but no bottom Chrome piece, Or you had to cut your OEM that way? I'm not sure.

I bought another OEM Chrome grille and I bought this Billet grille here, used.
I did not get any install hardware, But, I did contact Car Parts Discount for there version and they emailed me a pdf of their install directions, theirs also does not use the Bottom portion of the oem grill, just the top and sides.

I had to remove the 2 Bottom Billet Bars in order to make it fit. And do alot of grinding and power sanding and some bending, I also had to cut up that black plastic behind filler piece so it could be reinstalled.

You can go to the other "Family" HHR Forum and find my post about starting this, the guy, John, who did his first answered alot of my questions and supplied pics.
HIS, was a Stull Billet I believe.

Without the Bottom to complete the "frame" there is a wide gap left, he nor I liked that look.

Just takes a few tools and time.

Grind, check fit, grind, check fit and so on, until it fits nicely.

I still have my stock oem grille so again, another Mod I can always swap back to Original if I ever wanted to go back.

You just gotta go for it, I asked John far to many questions, I guess because we had so much snow I just kept askin them. lol

Labor of love always has its payback. A look that is unique and original.
