Not saying it's not going to happen but.......

You do understand the Solstice GXP is rear wheel drive....HHR is front wheel drive.
Solstice automatic is a completely different unit than that employed in the HHR.

But again, you did say, "MAY be available"

I think that GM sould make the SS with Availible Automatic, it would most likely increase sales.

Increasing sales will NOT matter. It will be introduced in "limited" production....much like the Fall Edition, Spring Edition. So they will sell everyone of them.

Yes I know the Solstice is a rear wheel drive. However, it shows the possibility is still there for the application to an automatic. Power to torque ratios and all. Not saying its a definite just a possibility.

Hey, need to say....I'm not arguing the point. seems like an interesting topic to discuss. I'm just "killing time" with you, waiting for some data to crunch, in another computer. And, not many members on line.

My point is....computer hook up, emissions, cooling, etc. All much different.

06'.......

Let me understand this.....

An extended holiday weekend and you are e-mailing someone at GM???

And you have a "source" that you can contact who will provide information???

Hmmmm, that's interesting. I'm ex GM Corporate Engineering Staff and I can't even reach people !!! Would you care to sahare your sources??

Oh, by the way, I did have a "future" HHR and a "future" Camaro, at my house last week. Both were test mules. Eat your heart out. But, obviously, can't say much about them.
