sorry to bump this day old thread up but I wanted to thank everyone for their welcome’s and compliments. I’ve been gone most of the last two days.

To all you other Sport Red Metalic owners. Glad to be another Sport Red owner. I’m very happy with the color, though I would have liked White, Black and possibly the Amethyst (sp?) as well.

I also wanted to offer something to the group. I feel like I’ve gained a LOT from reading this forum the last couple of months and so far haven’t been able to offer anything in return.

The only thing I can offer at this point as a result of my experiences since I did commercial photography in the past, would be in taking pictures of your HHR. There are a lot of great pictures in the members section of the Gallery, so there are lots of people who don’t need any help. I also know that there’s bound to be people who would like to have a great shot of their HHR, but don’t know how to get it.

If you have a digital camera, as most of us do, you can take great pictures of your car. I haven’t had time to really apply myself to my car, but for sure will in the near future.

If anyone would like me to post a list of some basic stuff about getting a good shot, let me know and I’ll make a list and put it in the Picture & Media section.

 

I think that's a great idea Riverwind. I just have a cheap digital camera and my cell phone, but I could use all the tips in the world. Maybe now I need to invest in a better camera since I have such a cool car. Downside to that...less money for mods.

 

Welcome River and I also have a sport red HHR. I am telling you get a coat of wax on and you will be amazed at how much better it will look. I have been using Meguirs NXT and boy does it make the ride SHINE!!! Peace Mark
